I recently received a spanking new Cintiq 21" UX. So far I'm really impressed with it - it's highly responsive, accurate, easy to work on and just all round awesome! Initially I wasn't sure whether to get the 12" (which seemed too small) or the 21" (which seemed too big). I heard the 21" was prone to scratching and the 12" had an issue with cursor jitter around the perimeter of the screen. In the end I decided on the 21", which seemed to be more value for money. I have also bought a screen protector which will prevent any scratches.

I connected the Cintiq to my iMac so it doubles as a second screen when I'm doing web dev work. My iMac and MacBook Pro are connected to each other using a program called Teleport so one keyboard and one mouse can control both computers. This set up provides me with the maximum usability and flexibility to have all the programs I need running at one time without being too draining on the computers resources. I just finished updating my resources page with a few more tutorial links and website developer links. I’ve also added a new section titled “Freebies”. This section includes links to all kinds of free stuff you can download to assist you with your design work. It includes free vectors, Photoshop brushes, high-resolution photographs and so on. Check back every so often as I will be adding to this section extensively.
